Firstly, let me welcome @FLVZ to the forums, he's an all round top guy and a friend of many years in both photography and film. Currently he is training as a Sound Designer

Some time back i spoke with him about getting a remake of the OST put together for an OpenApoc mod given the poor quality of the original game sound and the fact that OpenApoc will need to move away from dependancy on OG files going forward

Here is the thread for further discussion

    Hey team,

Cheers FB84 for the welcome. I am in contact with quite a number of independent producers who's musical style means it would be easy for them to crack on with this task. So I'll happily assemble a team and manage the technical aspects of delivery for the project if that works with the project.

and I told him that it seems to me the easiest thing to do is to mix the already existing tracks (just to get at least one and see how justified it is) and to create a new one, but I'm certainly not a pro

Hi guys, sorry for delay in response. Technical issues! Yes you can go ahead and announce on your platforms. Currently have a team of people who are selecting and working on these peices. I'll provide guidance and I'm happy to feedback any information to them. In communication with FilmBoy all the time so even if may be quiet I have him as primary contact!

Just to update you folks. I've managed to assemble 31 of the 34 tracks from the original game, sticking to guidelines given to me by @FilmBoy84 . These were created by roughly 10 composers who worked together to keep within the theme of the OST and also the game. I am now dealing with the post production for these assets and assembly as the final stages for the soundtrack. I have a plan for the outstanding songs so leave that with me. Thank you for your patience!
