    The goal of this thread is for people to paste the output of 'glxinfo' on linux, so I know the sort of opengl features that are available 'out in the wild' to use.

    I have the tendency to want to use new and shiny features - hopefully a set of limits here will help counter that urge :)

    EDIT:

    If you have GL_EXT_texture_array in the extensions, the value for 'GL_MAX_ARRAY_TEXTURE_LAYERS' would also be extremely useful (You can get this from 'glxinfo -l') - that will put a limit on the size of each 'spritesheet' in my current implementation (e.g. there are currently ~950 city tiles, so the 'spritesheet' optimization can't be used if this is less than that - and that makes quite a large difference....)
