Just a quick heads-up, I've pushed some initial vehicle code to my github (here) which now requies the GLM library. I believe this beats me trying to slowly re-implement half the stuff in GLM myself (badly). It's a bit useless at the minute (only the police hovercar has the sprites setup, see data/city/vehicles) as all it does is spawn a single vehicle at the top of the map and makes it spin around like a lunatic. I'll hopefully have proper motion Soon (tm), and we'll have a living city with vehicles all over the place No idea how I'm going to do collisions or ground vehicles yet, though.... Jonny
Fantastic. The vanilla game doesn't support anything like that number of vehicles. You easily hit the limit by simultaneously transferring a lot of goods between bases.
I've implemented some basic pathfinding (and fixed some of the sprite directions - a new video here - not they're more like ants as than flies...
I realise this is a little late, but I did post this on FB. Jonny also asked me to set up maybe something like Wordpress of OpenApoc. I've not really had any time to do it, but will try to at some point
Wordpress is so trivial anyone could do it. I'd volunteer, but am moving houses right now and will be unavailable for a week or two.
