    Hi everybody,

I have the Steam version of X-com TFTD but I want to install the TFTDextender, but it say It's only for window version and not steam. Is there any way for installing it?
    TIA!!!

The steam version uses the 'original' DOS executables, through dosbox. The TFTDExtender will (unfortunately) not work with this version, it's a completely different executable file to the 'Windows' collector edition.

You might be able to find a collector edition on CD somewhere, but I don't think they've available on any online download store at the minute... Also, they have a number of bugs on new versions of windows (that the TFTDExtender was originally made to fix, they just added some extra features while they were at it...)

I know openxcom (openxcom.org) have started working on tftd - I don't think it's playable yet, but they may be willing to incorporate TFTDextended features in that, or allow mods to add them. I can't tell you about timescales though, as I am not directly involved with their codebase.
